Dave’s Lounge #80 Revisited

I'm having a hard time bringing myself to recording a new podcast at the moment, for a variety of reasons. Whenever that happens, I always find myself coming back to this episode and listening to it. I still consider this to be the best episode I've ever put together.

Dave’s Lounge #80 Revisited — 6 Comments

  1. I left a comment on the Facebook page, and after reading it again, I sound like a cheapscate! Please don't take it that way. I do worry that some of the things I like about the podcast may be lost in tne premium format. I promise to try the sample and decide. I am enjoying this rebroadcast! Honesty compels me to tell you that I'm having a bit of a funding shortfall at the moment, otherwise I'd be buying a lot of this music on iTunes NOW! My shortfall won't last too much longer though, and I'll be back to put my $$ where my mouth is…

  2. This is a great show.  I like your comentary between tracks… adds a pile of flavour and adds so much personality!  Hope to hear more like this.

  3. I always thought your best episode was either 198 or 200. I'm also biased since I'm mentioned at the end of one of them.

Although I am still partial to 178 and 182. Those were the 1st two episodes I ever heard of Dave's Lounge. I was looking for unrelated music and somehow stumbled across those two episodes…and not from the Dave's Lounge website. I listened to them many times before I got curious enough to actually venture here to get more episodes. I've been hooked ever since.

As for the Premium thing, I'm assuming that's the reason for your reflection back to this episode. I don't view it as a bad thing. It just doesn't offer as much to me as it might offer to others. I don't mean that insulting in any way. I'm just stating the truth. I would buy the Dave's Lounge app, but my phone is an old old Flip-Phone that still says Cingular on it. AT&T bought them out years ago. But I do still have intentions of throwing a few into the tip-jar from time to time despite not signing up for Premium. I just hope people's lack of enthusiasm in the Premium offering doesn't bum you out to the point that you loose interest in continuing Dave's Lounge. Last I heard, your backlog of new music was pretty deep.

  4. This is an amazing podcast, THANK you for creating such a sensual show, Natalie Walker absolutely is haunting.
    Thanks Dave.
