The blog made the obvious reference to the film The Devil's Advocate, which featured a young lawyer shouting at his devilish client, "I don't use! I win! I'm a lawyer! That's what I do!" It's a rather telling line, especially when you consider it's predominantly lawyers in charge of the United States government. Lawyers seem to be calling all the shots in the music and movie industries these days, too. Do we really want a music industry that puts "winning" ahead of music? I sure don't.
