A few folks out there know I've gotten myself involved in the blues dancing scene on the east coast in the last couple of years — not only as a dancer, but as a DJ. It's a rare occasion that I get to play anything from this show during a dance, though sometimes a little downtempo slips into my mixes, just because some folks like it. This might be the first Dave's Lounge episode recorded on location. I'm on a vagabond vacation of sorts up here in Philadelphia, where I stood and sang with the American Outlaws at the USA v. Turkey pre-World Cup friendly, and where I plan to DJ a few blues dances until their big swing dance shindig next weekend.
