This week I talk a bit about Natalie Walker's gig last Friday at the Tin Angel in Philadelphia. Short version: Natalie was excellent, and her backing band is just fantastic. Bob Scott, who was nice enough to put me up for the weekend, offers his recap of the evening here. I have some video from that gig that I plan to post here very soon, though it really doesn't do justice to the quality of the music played that night.

For those of you who live in the Philadelphia area, Natalie Walker is playing a set at the Tin Angel on Friday, December 5. I am planning on being in attendance for this show, so come on out and say hey.

Speaking of plans, I'm also planning on doing a year-end special, highlighting some of your favorite new songs from 2008. Feel free to post a comment here with a list of your favorites that I played here in the lounge this year. I think we might make a tradition out of this.

Three new countries added to the List of Nations this week: Egypt, Ghana and Indonesia. That brings the total number of countries listening to Dave's Lounge to 78. I wonder how long it will be before we reach 100…
