Dave’s Lounge #26

A couple of things to note about this show, the first of what I hope will be many 6-song shows:

I've added a new feature called Artist Rewind. Basic idea is that you'll get to hear another song from a band previously featured on this podcast. It's a way for me to continue to promote certain bands without repeating the same songs multiple times. Anyone doing a daily podcast — like, say, Adam Curry — can get away with that, but I like introducing people to new tunes, especially for those who listen to Dave's Lounge multiple times.

Also, the second half of this show features a few bands playing live trip hop that some may label “Shoegazer” or “Atmospheric Pop” or even “Live Jazz.” It's a bit of an experiment for me, really, and I'm curious as to what people think of it. If you like or hate it, shoot me an email and let me know. Thanks.
