I promised everyone a two-parter for show #100, and here's part two. These are all songs you requested that you wanted to hear for this milestone episode, and I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I enjoyed putting it together. As always, please support these great musicians where you can, because I want to keep playing new music from them in future shows.

  1. I luv your show, but why so much of Natalie Walker? Theres a whole lot of great music that really needs your space, i have all your episodes and everytime i play one there’s she singing… Don’t get me wrong, because of you i brought some of her music, i love her work, but as i see many other unknown musicians deserve to be feature in your great podcast, and remember that theres a chance that in giving too much exposition to an artist he-she-they may burn out.

Anyway… As always love, love your show

  2. Great 100th podcast, both parts I and II. Really enjoy the show. Look forward to the following ones.

  3. This may sound harsh, but I’m glad you did part 2 as part 1 was dire. After waiting to hear a recap of the last two years, you kicked part 1 off with someone who can’t sing. Nathalie Walker is good, but she’s not a goddess. I have never been so disappointed in a Dave’s Lounge episode since I began listening to you in August 2005.

Part 2, by way of contrast, is delightful and its already been round the loop twice this morning.

Thanks Dave. Have a beautiful Christmas.

  4. Hey Dave!

Big congrats to episode 100 (listening right now). Since episode 1 the quality of your podcast is just terriffic!

Big props and all the best for the next 100 episodes!

  5. Great show. About it’s name, I think the current name is just fine. I don’t see a need to change it.

  6. I can’t decide which one I like more–part one or two. But they’re both a great mix, and of course and again, congrats on your One Hundred. Wouldn’t have liked to see anybody else make it this far~!

  7. Thank you very much, for these nice sounds.
100% music, I like. You really dig out brillant female voices. Merry x-mas to you.

  9. Hey Dave,

Congratulations and thanks for including Statues. It’s so great. I actually first heard this episode on my trans-atlantic flights. Dave’s lounge is perfect for flying.

  10. Hi, Dave!
    My congratulations with #100!

I like your show very much! My friend gave me CDs last year…And since that time I listen to every episode. Thanks to Dave`s Lounge I`ve got to know and fall in love with a lot of performers.

And I have to say that your voice is so pleasant))
Thanks for all, Merry X-mas and Happy New Year!
